Resonance & Experience

Lisa Prina

My journey into the world of sound began on the operatic stage, where the demands of performance met the profound necessity of the breath. As a soprano with the Utah Opera and a frequent collaborator with the Utah Symphony, I have spent decades mastering the technical precision required for the world's most demanding repertoire.

Throughout my career in Utah's vibrant arts community, I have performed roles that explore the full spectrum of human emotion. Yet, I found that the true "resonance" I sought wasn't just found in the applause of a concert hall, but in the quiet, grounded connection between a singer's heart and their instrument. This realization led me to expand my work beyond the stage and into the studio.

As an instructor and a private voice teacher for over 20 years, I have guided hundreds of students to find their own unique sound. My approach is holistic—integrating the rigorous vocal techniques of the masters with the healing power of conscious breathwork. I believe that when we clear the physical and emotional blocks to our breath, we don't just become better singers; we become more vibrant, present human beings.

Today, my work as a Voice Teacher and Breathwork Facilitator is dedicated to helping you find that same grounding. Whether you are a professional performer looking to refine your craft or someone seeking to reconnect with your own vitality through sound and breath, I am here to hold the space for your transformation.

Love Dog

When I am not in the studio or on stage, you can find me exploring the mountain trails of Utah, where the silence of the trees offers its own kind of music. I live for the moments where we stop trying to "force" a sound and instead allow it to resonate from the truth of who we are.
